Vanilla Buttercream
It’s incredibly creamy, smooth, and easy to work with for decorating cupcakes and cakes.
Ingredients
- 100 g butter softened
- 240 g confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Beat the butter on medium speed until creamy.
- Add sifted confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high speed and beat until well combined and smooth.
Notes
Add 3 tbsp more confectioners’ sugar if the frosting is too thin or another tablespoon of milk if the frosting is too thick.
