Vanilla Buttercream

It’s incredibly creamy, smooth, and easy to work with for decorating cupcakes and cakes.

Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g butter softened
  • 240 g confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Beat the butter on medium speed until creamy.
  2. Add sifted confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high speed and beat until well combined and smooth.

Notes

Add 3 tbsp more confectioners’ sugar if the frosting is too thin or another tablespoon of milk if the frosting is too thick.
