Vanilla Buttercream

It’s incredibly creamy, smooth, and easy to work with for decorating cupcakes and cakes.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g butter softened
  • 240 g confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Beat the butter on medium speed until creamy.
  • Add sifted confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high speed and beat until well combined and smooth.

Notes

Add 3 tbsp more confectioners’ sugar if the frosting is too thin or another tablespoon of milk if the frosting is too thick.
