I love pizza! This is my family’s all-time favorite chicken pizza. It is a thin-crust base topped with homemade tomato sauce, cheese, chicken, and various toppings.
Mix all the dry ingredients and the oil, then slowly start adding the warm water and form a soft dough.
Dab a touch of oil all over the dough, and let it rise to double its size, for about an hour or more.
Pizza Sauce
Blend the tomatoes, and onion until smooth.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped garlic until fragrant. Add the blended mixture along with the other ingredients and let it simmer until it thickens. Use as required.
Tandoori Chicken
To prepare the chicken, simply combine all the ingredients and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken pieces and fry them. After cooling, shred the chicken as desired.
Pizza Preparation
Once the dough is risen, give it a quick knead and then roll it out to 1/4 inch thickness and about 10 inches in diameter and place it on your greased pizza pan.
Evenly spread half of the pizza sauce, and add chicken, toppings, and cheese. Finally, sprinkle with Italian herbs and chilli flakes to taste.
Once done, bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 200C for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese melts and the crust becomes crisp. Adjust the baking time to your oven.
